Apple requires at minimum one set of screenshots for iPhone 6.9" or 6.7". If you only supply one size, Apple uses it for all smaller iPhones automatically.

iPad screenshot sizes
iPad screenshots are only required if your app supports iPadOS. If you submit an iPad-compatible app, Apple requires at least one iPad screenshot set.

Key rules to know
- →Screenshots must be in PNG or JPEG format with no alpha channel.
